Start by mixing coal flour and salt in a bowl.
Add one egg to the flour mixture.
Gradually pour in water while mixing until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for a few minutes until it's smooth.
Cover the dough and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
Finely chop the onion and add it to the minced meat.
Season the meat mixture with salt, black pepper, and turmeric.
Roll out the rested dough into flat circles.
Place a spoonful of the meat filling in the center of each circle.
Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
Drop the khinkali into the boiling water and cook until they float, about 5-6 minutes.
Remove the khinkali using a slotted spoon and let them drain briefly.
Serve the khinkali hot, optionally drizzled with yogurt and sprinkled with oregano.
