  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onions, bell pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. 2Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. 3Add the beaten egg to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  4. 4Form the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
  5. 5Dust each patty lightly with flour to help with frying.
  6. 6Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. 7Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary.
  8. 8Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. 9Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
