Traditionally sourced from the icy waters of Alaska, they are prized for their sweet, tender meat and are often served with melted butter for dipping. In recent years, king crab has gained popularity in various cuisines, leading to creative dishes and preparations worldwide, while still being a staple at seafood feasts.

Make a spicy garlic aioli by mixing together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon garlic paste, hot sauce, smoked paprika, juicy crab seasoning, all-purpose seasoning, and a pinch of white sugar in a medium mixing bowl.
Refrigerate the aioli until needed later.
Prepare the king crab legs by using kitchen scissors to cut down one side and then the other side of the shell to expose the crab meat.
Remove the claws first and then cut the top of the shell to expose the meat, repeating this for all crab legs.
Separate the meat that will be used for deep frying and place it in a bowl, covering it with buttermilk.
For the broiled crab legs, leave the meat in the half shell and place it in a casserole dish.
Prepare the breading station by mixing 1 cup yellow cornmeal and 1 cup all-purpose flour in a mixing bowl, then season with all-purpose seasoning.
Season the crab meat with juicy crab seasoning and cover it in about 1 quart of buttermilk, then refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Make garlic butter by heating 1 stick of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, adding 1-2 teaspoons of garlic, 1 tablespoon of juicy crab seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest, lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped parsley, mixing until melted.
Ladle the garlic butter over the exposed crab meat and broil for about 5 minutes.
Coat the crab legs in the seasoned flour and cornmeal mixture, ensuring they are well coated with no bald spots.
Place the coated crab legs on a plate and let them sit for about 10 minutes while the oil heats up.
