Cut the core out of the apple and chop it into smaller pieces to prevent floating in the blender.

Add 1 and 1/2 large carrots to the blender, cut into smaller pieces for faster blending.

Add 2 shallots to the blender.

Add a knob of ginger to the blender.

Roll the lime under your hand to release juice, then cut and squeeze it into the blender.

Add 1 cup of hot water to the blender.

Add tahini to the blender.

Place the lid on the blender and use the tamper to start blending.

Turn the blender on low, then increase to high, removing the tamper and replacing it with the lid plug.

Blend until warm and smooth, about a few minutes.

To serve, sprinkle black sesame seeds on top.
