Flange the grape leaves to prepare them for wrapping.
Place the rough surface of the grape leaf facing up.
Take your filling mixture and place it right above the stem of the leaf.
Fold the leaf over the filling, then close it up on either side.
Roll the leaf tightly like a cigar towards the tip of the leaf, being careful not to split it.
Place the rolled dolma into the pot for boiling, ensuring they are tightly packed together.
Add leftover lemon juice from the filling to the pot.
Add oil and water to the pot.
Place a plate on top of the dolmas in the pot to prevent them from floating during boiling.
