How to make Instant Pot popcorn | Step by Step Instant Pot Recipe

Select the sauté button on your Instant Pot and wait until it says 'hot' (about 3-4 minutes).

Add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to the Instant Pot.

Once the oil is melted, add in 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels, spreading them into an even layer around the sides of the pot.

Wait for the kernels to start popping.

Optionally, add seasonings like 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt, garlic powder, and salt and pepper now, or wait until the end to season.

Find a glass lid from another pot or pan to cover the Instant Pot (do not use the Instant Pot lid).

Listen for the popping to increase in frequency, then decrease.

Once there are about 15 seconds between pops, remove the pot from the heat.

Take the Instant Pot liner out to prevent burning the popcorn.

If there are still unpopped kernels, shake the pot gently to help them pop.

Wait until popping slows down to about 15-20 seconds between pops, then your popcorn is ready.
