Slice the two large onions.

Prepare a rub seasoning with Norris beef bouillon, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic and herb seasoning, sweet basil, parsley flakes, and oregano basil and tomato seasoning.

Rub vegetable oil on the beef chuck roasts and apply the rub seasoning on both sides.

Heat vegetable oil in a stock pot over high heat and sear the beef roasts to lock in flavors.

Add 1 cup of water to the pot to deglaze and incorporate flavors from the bottom.

Add the seared beef roasts back into the pot.

Add the sliced onions to the pot and cover the beef with water.

Add Lipton onion soup mix to the pot and stir to combine.

Cover the pot and cook for about 2 hours and 25 minutes.

Prepare a flour slurry with 1/2 cup flour and 1 cup water, then stir it into the gravy to thicken it.
