The slow-cooking method transforms tough cuts of meat into tender, flavorful meals, making it a staple in many households. Today, variations exist worldwide, with each culture adding its unique twist to the classic recipe.

Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Prepare a seasoning blend with 1 tablespoon seasoned salt, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and some smoked paprika in a small mixing bowl and set aside.
Lather the 2.12 lb chuck beef roast with avocado oil and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce on both sides.
Coat the roast with the seasoning blend on all sides.
Heat avocado oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat and sear the roast on both sides for about 3 minutes.
Add 2 chopped carrots, 1 chopped yellow onion, and 2 chopped stalks of celery to the pot and sauté.
Deglaze the pot with 1 cup of beef broth, scraping up the browned bits.
Mix 1 savory pot roast seasoning packet into another cup of beef broth and add it to the pot, totaling 2 cups of beef broth so far.
Add the roast back into the pot and pour the broth mixture over it and the vegetables.
Add potatoes and the remaining beef broth to make a total of 4 cups.
Add a pinch of salt and 3-4 sprigs of thyme, then cover the pot.
Bake at 300°F for about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
