1

Trim off excess fat from the chuck roast, aiming for a lean cut.

2

Cut the chuck roast into a size suitable for cooking, approximately 2.8 lbs after trimming.

3

Set the Ninja Foodi to the seal setting and add 2 tablespoons of oil.

4

Sear the chuck roast in the Ninja Foodi for a few minutes on each side until browned, if desired.

5

Add 4 beef bouillon cubes to the pot.

6

Add 2.5 cups of water to the pot and stir until the bouillon cubes dissolve.

7

Add 1 thick carrot cut into big chunks and 2 celery stalks cut into big chunks to the pot.

8

Add 2 pinches of rosemary leaves and 2 pinches of thyme, along with salt and pepper to taste.

9

Place the chuck roast into the pot, ensuring the water level is just under the top of the meat.

10

Cover the pot with the lid and set the Ninja Foodi to slow cook on high for 9.5 hours.

11

Check the roast after about 7 to 8 hours to see if it is fork-tender.

12

Once the roast is done, remove it and the vegetables from the pot, leaving the broth.

13

Add 2 handfuls of egg noodles to the broth in the pot and add more water if necessary.

14

Cook the noodles for about 6.5 minutes until tender.

15

Taste the broth and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

16

Bring the broth to a boil to prepare for making gravy.

17

Use flour and water or cornstarch to thicken the broth for gravy.
