In a large mixing bowl, add Lal milk, active dry yeast, and sugar.
Mix until well combined.
Add eggs and mix again until combined.
Pour in sunflower oil and whisk until well combined.
Add all-purpose flour in two batches, mixing after the first batch.
Add salt and mix until everything comes together.
Transfer the dough to a clean work surface and knead for 15 minutes until elastic and smooth.
Transfer the dough to a slightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel, and let it rest at room temperature for 40 to 50 minutes until doubled in size.
After the dough has risen, punch it down to release air.
Transfer the dough back to the work surface and cut it into equal portions.
Shape each portion into a 'B' shape and set aside on a tray, covering the rest to prevent drying.
Flatten each piece of dough using a rolling pin until very thin.
Drizzle oil on top of the flattened dough and brush evenly.
Cut the dough into four equal parts.
Fold or roll each piece into a specific shape, tucking the end underneath.
Transfer the shaped dough to a baking tray lined with parchment paper and cover to let rise for another 40 minutes until doubled in size.
Prepare an egg wash by whisking egg yolk with a little milk.
Use the mouth of a rolling pin to create a hole in the middle of each dough piece.
Fill the hole with jam of your choice.
Brush the tops with the egg wash and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
