In a bowl of a food processor or blender, combine 1/2 cup of chopped cilantro, 1/4 cup of green onion, 1/3 cup of olive oil, 4 tablespoons of Tabasco Chipotle Sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
Pulse the mixture together until smooth.
Place the flank steak in a nonreactive glass dish and cover both sides with the marinade.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least six hours, or preferably overnight.
Remove the steak from the fridge 30 minutes prior to grilling.
Preheat the grill to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (medium high heat).
Grill the steak covered for four minutes per side for medium rare, or cook to desired doneness.
To achieve grill marks, rotate the steak 45 degrees after two minutes on each side.
Once grilled to perfection, remove the steak to a platter and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes prior to cutting.
Slice the steak against the grain.
Add a squeeze of fresh lime juice and more Tabasco Chipotle Sauce to taste.
