red chili powder (1/2 teaspoon)

1

Boil 1/2 cup of water in a pan.

2

Add 1 pound of grapes to the boiling water and cook for about 2-3 minutes until soft.

3

Remove the grapes from heat and let them cool.

4

Blend the cooled grapes into a paste and strain it to extract the juice, adding 1/2 cup of water to help extract the flavor.

5

Soak 1/2 cup of tamarind in 1 cup of water for 20 minutes, then strain to get the tamarind juice.

6

Combine the grape juice and tamarind juice in a pot and add the following spices: 1/2 teaspoon of chaat masala, 1/2 teaspoon of black salt, 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder, and jaggery to taste (less than 1 cup).

7

Cook the mixture until it thickens, stirring occasionally.

8

Optionally, add food coloring and mix well.

9

Dissolve 2 tablespoons of corn flour in a little water and add it to the mixture to thicken it further, cooking until the raw taste of the corn flour is gone.

10

Let the chutney cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it for a while.

11

Prepare the fruits: slice banana, apple, and kiwi, and place them in a bowl.

12

Add dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios, and dates) to the fruit bowl and mix well.

13

Add the chilled chutney to the mixed fruits and combine thoroughly.
