Honey adds natural sweetness with a unique flavor.
Add 1 and 1/4 cups lukewarm milk to the bread machine.
Add 2 tablespoons of shortening to the milk.
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the mixture.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the mixture.
Add 3 and 1/3 cups of white flour to the mixture.
Sprinkle 3/4 teaspoon of yeast on top of the flour.
Set the bread machine to the dough setting and start it.
After a while, check the dough; if it's sticky, add a little more flour gradually.
Once the dough is done, dump it onto greased parchment paper.
Shape the dough into a loaf shape.
Spray the outside of the loaf to prevent it from drying out.
Let the loaf rise for about 25-30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Once the dough has doubled in size, make a few slashes on top of the loaf.
Place the loaf in the oven at 375°F and start checking it around 15 minutes.
Bake for a total of about 25-26 minutes, depending on how brown you like the crust.
