Easy and Delicious Brown Sugar Walnut Pie
Recipe Information
Brown Sugar Pie
Melt 1 stick of butter in the microwave.
Pour 2 packages of graham cracker crumbs into a pie dish.
Add brown sugar and vanilla extract to the graham cracker crumbs.
Incorporate the melted butter into the graham cracker mixture until it resembles wet sand.
Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the pie dish to form the crust.
Crush walnuts using an apple slicer and add them to the prepared graham cracker crust.
In a medium mixing bowl, crack 2 eggs and add brown sugar, all-purpose flour, heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and a dash of salt.
Whisk the mixture until combined, then add the melted butter and whisk again until fully combined.
Pour the filling over the walnuts in the crust and shake to ensure coverage.
Bake in a 325°F oven for 35 to 40 minutes, watching to prevent the crust from becoming hard.
Let the pie cool for at least 1 hour before slicing.
Store leftovers at room temperature for 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days.
