All Purpose Green Marinade

This marinade is great for chicken, fish, vegetables, paneer, pork, beef, or anything you want.
The amount shown will marinate approximately 2 kilos (about 4.5 pounds) of chicken.
Rough chop 5 spring onions to fit into the blender for a smooth paste.
Add green chilies to taste for a green marinade.
Chop 5 large garlic cloves and an average sized bunch of cilantro, washed and cleaned.
To a spice grinder, add 1 teaspoon of whole black peppercorn, 2 teaspoons of oregano, 1 teaspoon of red chili flakes, 1 to 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of salt, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of oil.
Grind the spices into a smooth paste, slowly adding in the chopped cilantro.
The marinade should be a nice smooth paste with all spices crushed down, and it will smell heavenly.
Taste test the marinade to ensure it's full of flavor.
This marinade can be used to marinate chicken, vegetables, fish, or any protein.
You can bake, grill, barbecue, or sauté the marinated food.
