Baked Pears with Mascarpone Cream

4 barley pears
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup honey
1 cup (8 ounces) heavy whipping cream
8 ounces marshmallow
2 teaspoons vanilla

Cut the 4 barley pears in half and remove the core.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Cut 2 tablespoons of butter into 8 equal chunks.

Place one chunk of butter in the center of each pear half where the core was removed.

Drizzle approximately 1/2 cup of honey over all the pears.

Bake the pears in the preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

In a stand mixer, add 1 cup (8 ounces) of heavy whipping cream and mix until it begins to hold its shape.

Add 8 ounces of marshmallow to the whipped cream and mix until combined.

Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla to the mixture and scrape the sides of the bowl.

Set the marshmallow cream aside until the pears are done baking.

Once the pears are done, use tongs to place one pear in the center of a bowl.

Top the pear with the marshmallow cream.

Sprinkle pumpkin pie seasoning over the cream.

Add a few pistachios on top of the cream.

Drizzle additional honey over the finished baked pear.
