Add 1/2 cup olive oil into a pan and set the stove to medium high.

Add chopped onions and sauté for about 2 to 3 minutes until translucent.

Add the washed beef to the pan carefully, mixing it with the onions.

Add about 3 teaspoons of salt and mix well, then cover and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, check the meat; it should be browned.

Add roughly chopped tomatoes to the meat and mix, then cover and cook for another 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, add 3 cups of water to the pan and let it cook for another 10 to 15 minutes on medium high to soften the meat.

Stir the mixture and add the frozen jute leaves, mixing them in.

Cover and let it cook for another 20 minutes until the jute leaves are cooked down.

Add about half a can of coconut milk carefully into the mixture.
