Roasted Okra

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wash and dry the okra, then cut the stems off, leaving a little bit of the end on to prevent leaking.

Spray the okra with a little bit of oil to avoid using too much.

Add a little bit of salt and garlic powder to the okra for flavor.

Line a flat baking sheet with tinfoil and add a little bit of oil to it.

Spread the okra out on the baking sheet, ensuring it's crowded but not too much on the floor.

Bake the okra in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, rolling them over halfway through at the 10-minute mark to prevent burning.

After 10 minutes, roll the okra over to ensure even cooking and browning.

Continue baking for another 10 minutes, checking for doneness and browning.

If the okra is not done to liking, add a couple more minutes to the baking time and check again.
