Cut your carp into pieces 1.25 inches and remove the bones, separating the fish meat from the skin carefully.

Mince the fish meat in a blender or with a very sharp knife.

Cover a few pieces of bread with milk in a bowl and leave it to soften well.

Grind two carrots at the smallest grind and chop 2 onions into very small pieces, then sauté these vegetables to golden in any kind of vegetable oil.

Mix together the ground carp meat, two eggs, squeezed bread from the milk, and your sautéed carrot and onion. Add some salt and black pepper.

With wet hands, form the fish balls and cover them with the carp skin you removed earlier.

Using the sliced raw root vegetables, cover the bottom of the pot and place the fish balls on top of them. Cover the fish balls with another layer of root vegetables. Repeat the layer as many times as your pot requires.

Cover all these ingredients with cold water, just almost covering the last layer, and heat it uncovered until it starts to boil. Reduce heat to the lowest temperature, cover with the lid, and leave it to cook for about 1 hour.
