Boil water with a little bit of salt.
Add grape leaves to boiling water for about 1 minute until they change color.
Remove the grape leaves and add 5-6 more to the hot water.
Soak 1 glass of rice in water for 15 minutes.
Chop the onion and add it to the rice.
Add 1 spoon of sweet chilli flakes, 1 spoon of mint, 1 spoon of salt, smoked paprika, black pepper, and 2 tbsp of tomato paste to the rice mixture.
Mix all the ingredients together.
Place 2 grape leaves on the working surface.
Stuff the grape leaves with a slim layer of the rice mixture.
Roll the grape leaves tightly from front to back and tuck in the sides.
Add hot water to the pot, enough to cover the stuffed grape leaves.
Place a plate on top of the stuffed grape leaves to keep them submerged while cooking.
