In a bowl, whisk together the sugars and butter until light and fluffy.

Sieve in the maida, baking powder and soda and mix them together.

Add chocolate chips and mix well.

It will be crumbly at this point, so add in milk as needed to make a cookie dough.

Once the dough comes together, transfer it to a greased and lined baking dish or cake tin.

Bake it in a preheated oven or OTG at 180°C for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Let it cool down for 5 minutes, then de-mould.

Once the cookie cake has cooled down, serve it with vanilla ice cream or some chocolate buttercream icing.
