French Onion Dip

2 sweet onions
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 tablespoons chopped chives

Cut the ends off of 2 sweet onions and slice them down the middle to remove the outer layers.

Slice the onions into strips.

Add 2 tablespoons of butter to a skillet and melt it.

Add the sliced onions to the skillet.

Season the onions with a little bit of salt and black pepper.

Stir the onions periodically to prevent burning.

Cook the onions until they reach a brown caramel color.

Transfer the caramelized onions to a food processor.

Add 2 cups of sour cream to the food processor.

Add 1/4 cup of mayonnaise to the food processor.

Add 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce to the food processor.

Add a pinch of salt to the mixture in the food processor.

Blend all the ingredients together until smooth.

Add 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley to the mixture.
