French Onion Dip

14 oz sour cream
1/4 cup fresh chives
1 cup finely diced onions
1 cup finely diced shallots
1 tablespoon cajun rub
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Add 14 oz of sour cream to a dish.

Chop and measure 1/4 cup of fresh chives and set aside.

Finely dice 1 cup of onions and 1 cup of shallots, mixing them together.

Spray duck fat into a skillet and heat over medium-low.

Add the diced onions and shallots to the skillet and let them sweat and caramelize for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.

Once the onions and shallots are soft and have some color, remove them from heat and let cool.

In a bowl, combine the cooled onions and shallots with the sour cream, chives, 1 tablespoon of cajun rub, and 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.
