French Onion Dip

Cut low carb tortillas into pieces using scissors.

Spray both sides of the tortilla pieces with coconut oil spray.

Bake the tortilla pieces in the oven at 350°F for about 8 minutes.

Crank the oven up to broil and watch until they start to brown and become crispy.

Set the tortilla chips aside to cool.

Slice 1/2 onion thinly for caramelizing.

Heat a skillet over low heat and add a tad bit of butter until melted.

Add the sliced onions to the skillet and break them apart.

Caramelize the onions for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a bowl, combine 2 ounces of room-temperature cream cheese and the entire container of sour cream.

Use a hand mixer to mix the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.

Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, minced fresh parsley, and chives to the cream cheese and sour cream mixture and mix well.

Once the onions are caramelized, fold them into the dip.
