Cut the round sourdough loaf in a diamond crisscross pattern without cutting all the way through.
In a pan over medium-low heat, add 4 tablespoons of salted butter and 1/2 cup of olive oil.
Add 3 minced garlic cloves and a pinch of crushed red pepper (about 1/4 teaspoon) to the pan.
Add about 1/2 teaspoon of dehydrated minced onion and mix.
After warming for about 45 seconds, add 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley and turn off the heat.
Let the garlic butter sauce sit to allow flavors to meld.
Finely slice 6 ounces of low-moisture mozzarella cheese and insert it into the cuts of the bread.
Brush the exterior of the bread with the garlic butter sauce.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for at least 20 minutes until the cheese is melty and the exterior is golden-brown.
