4 large quartered Onions

1 teaspoonful of the Edzè blend from Buy Ndudu (substitute with Lime or Sumac)

Prepare the marinade by mixing honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, olive oil, lime juice, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.

Place the guinea fowl in a large resealable bag or dish and pour the marinade over it.

Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Remove the guinea fowl from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off.

Place the guinea fowl on the grill, skin side down, and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.

Brush the remaining marinade over the guinea fowl during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
