1

Prepare 1.5 lbs of shaved beef or thinly cut beef.

2

Cut 1 cup of onion thin and julienne 0.5 cup of carrot.

3

Cut 0.5 cup of green onion into half-inch pieces.

4

Grate about 0.25 cup worth of a sweet apple.

5

In a large mixing bowl, add 0.5 cup of soy sauce, 6 tbsp of sugar, 0.25 cup of grated sweet apple, 1.5 tbsp of minced garlic, 2 tbsp of cooking wine, 1 tbsp of sesame oil, 0.25 tsp of black pepper, and 1.5 cups of water. Mix it together.

6

Add the beef, onion, and carrot to the sauce, saving the green onion for later. Cover and marinate for several hours in the refrigerator.

7

After marinating, heat a pan over medium heat and cook the beef for about 8 to 10 minutes.

8

When the bulgogi is almost done cooking, add the green onion and finish cooking.

9

Prepare the salad by cutting iceberg lettuce into bite-sized pieces with your fingers.

10

Thinly slice the cucumber and radish.

11

In a mixer, add onion, carrot, ginger, cooking oil, vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce. Grind for a minute to make a smooth texture and set aside.

12

Assemble the lunch box: put freshly cooked rice in one compartment, add bulgogi next to the rice, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

13

In another compartment, add vegan jabche and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

14

Fill the next compartment with salad vegetables and leave space for two garlic chive dumplings.

15

Add kimchi in a silicon bowl and place it in the compartment with the bulgogi.

16

Optionally, add a cute fish-shaped butter for soy dipping sauce or pour soy dipping sauce directly.

17

Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top of the rice before serving.

18

Drizzle salad dressing on the salad just before serving.
