Clean the salmon fillets with lemon juice to remove any fishy smell.
Pat the salmon dry and place it on a wire rack.
Prepare the marinade by adding soy sauce to a wide bowl.
Add chopped onion, mustard, lemon juice, ginger powder, paprika powder, and black pepper to the bowl.
Mix everything together to create the marinade.
Place the salmon in the marinade, ensuring every part is covered, with the fleshy side facing the sauce.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salmon to marinate for 15-30 minutes.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and rinse it.
Peel the potatoes and slice them into small chunks for quicker cooking.
Rinse the potato chunks and add them to a pot with water and salt, then boil until soft.
Line the air fryer with double foil for easy cleanup.
Remove the marinated salmon from the fridge and place it in the air fryer, skin-side down.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 175°C for about 12 minutes, checking at 8 minutes.
Drain the excess water from the boiled potatoes and toss them in butter.
In a frying pan, add a knob of butter and the asparagus, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and cook until bright green.
Remove the remaining marinade from the fish and cook it down in a small frying pan to serve with the fish.
Once everything is cooked, assemble the dish with the salmon, buttery potatoes, and asparagus.
