Delicious Caramel Chocolate Matzah - Let's Cook with ModernMom

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Line a small baking sheet with foil and then parchment paper.

Line the baking sheet with matzah to cover the surface.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 stick of butter.

Add 1/2 cup of light brown sugar to the melted butter and increase the heat to medium-high.

Stir the mixture until it comes to a boil, which takes about 3 minutes.

Continue stirring for about 3 more minutes while it boils.

Remove the saucepan from heat and pour the mixture over the matzah, spreading it evenly.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle 1 cup of dark chocolate chips over the top of the matzah.

Let the chocolate chips sit on the hot matzah until they melt, then spread the melted chocolate evenly over the top.

Refrigerate the matzah for about 10 minutes until the chocolate is firm.

Once firm, remove the matzah from the parchment paper and cut it into pieces, similar to bark.
