Whisk 8 eggs in a mixing bowl until smooth.
Prepare a sheet pan by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray, then line it with parchment paper, and spray the parchment paper again with nonstick spray.
Add 1 cup of milk to the eggs and stir until the color lightens and is well mixed.
Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/3 cup flour to the egg mixture, whisking until there are no lumps.
Pour the egg mixture into the center of the prepared sheet pan to minimize mess.
Sprinkle shaved ham evenly over the egg mixture, leaving a strip without any toppings for picky eaters.
Place the sheet pan in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle cheese over the top of the omelet.
Return the pan to the oven for an additional 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
Use the parchment paper to help roll the omelet from one end to the other, starting gently and using the paper to assist in the rolling process.
Transfer the rolled omelet to a cutting board and slice it into 1-inch pieces for serving.
