Add green chilies and fresh herbs, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
Divide the rested dough into equal portions.
Roll each portion into a thin circle on a floured surface.
Spread a layer of the onion mixture over half of the dough circle.
Fold the other half over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges.
Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry each fateer until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
Serve warm with yogurt and lemon juice.
