7-9 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste

Clean the pigeons thoroughly, washing them 5-7 times until the water runs clear.

Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a large pot.

Add the pigeons and cook for 10-15 minutes until the meat changes color to light brown.

Add all the spices: 1 piece of cinnamon, 2-3 green cardamom pods, 2-3 cloves, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1.5 teaspoons coriander powder, and 1.5 teaspoons cumin powder.

Add 7-9 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 5 minutes to blend the spices.

Add salt to taste and then pour in 3 liters of water.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours until the meat is tender and the water reduces to 1 liter.

Strain the broth to remove the spices and return the meat to the pot.
