How to make PERFECT ROASTED GARLIC | roasted garlic recipe | Dad Bod Basics
Recipe Information
Roasted Garlic
Start by selecting a full head of garlic, looking for one that sits flat.
Slice off about the first half inch of the top of the garlic head to expose the cloves.
Drizzle olive oil over the exposed cloves of garlic.
Sprinkle sea salt and ground black pepper over the garlic.
Wrap the garlic head in aluminum foil, bringing the bottom up and folding it closed.
Place the wrapped garlic on a baking sheet or mat.
Bake in an oven at 420 degrees Fahrenheit for about 35 minutes.
After 35 minutes, remove the garlic from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out into a bowl, being careful as they are sticky.
Mash the roasted garlic into a paste with a fork or spoon.
Spread the garlic paste onto lightly toasted crostinis, about half a teaspoon per piece.
Optionally, drizzle a little olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper on top of the crostinis.
