Roasted Garlic

1 whole head of garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Take a whole head of garlic and slice off the top 1/4 inch to expose the cloves.

Place the garlic head on a piece of aluminum foil.

Drizzle olive oil over the exposed cloves, ensuring they are well coated.

Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the garlic.

Wrap the garlic tightly in the aluminum foil.

Place the wrapped garlic on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cloves are soft and caramelized.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before unwrapping.
