Roasted Garlic

1 head of garlic

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Take a whole head of garlic and cut it right down the middle to expose the cloves.

Place the garlic on a piece of aluminum foil.

Drizzle the garlic with a little bit of olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

Reassemble the garlic head and tightly wrap it in aluminum foil.

Place the wrapped garlic in the preheated oven and roast for about 45 minutes to an hour, until the cloves are incredibly soft and golden brown.

After roasting, let the garlic cool for about 10 minutes to avoid burning yourself.

Once cooled, squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins.

Spread the roasted garlic on a piece of baguette or any preferred bread.

Drizzle with a touch of olive oil and add freshly cracked black pepper.
