Chop 1 bell pepper, 2 onions, and 3-4 ribs of celery into small pieces.
Open the package of the 14-pound turkey and remove the giblets (neck, liver, hearts).
Wash and clean the turkey by scrubbing it with salt and water.
Cut off the turkey tail and any extra skin and fat around the turkey, discarding it.
Pat dry the turkey with paper towels.
Mix melted butter and olive oil with minced garlic.
Add 2 tablespoons of onion powder and 1 tablespoon each of other seasonings (not specified in the transcript) to the butter and oil mixture.
Rub the seasoning mixture all over the turkey, inside and out, including under the skin.
Stuff the cavity of the turkey with the chopped celery and bell pepper, and sprinkle some around the turkey.

If the turkey is not done, baste it again and cover it back up with foil.
Once the turkey reaches 167°F (75°C), remove it from the oven and check the temperature in several spots to ensure it is fully cooked.
Remove the foil and drain the broth from the turkey.
Return the turkey to the oven to brown the skin, covering any dark spots with foil to prevent burning.
After 4 hours of cooking, the turkey is done and should be beautifully browned.
