1

Soak bamboo skewers in water for several hours to prevent burning on the grill.

2

Mix together 1 cup of oil-based Italian dressing, 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce, 1 cup of barbecue sauce, 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped rosemary, and 4 cloves of minced garlic in a bowl.

3

Cut the flap steak into chunks, removing any undesirable bits.

4

Place the beef chunks in a plastic zipper bag or glass baking dish and pour the marinade over the beef.

5

Add a couple of sprigs of rosemary to the beef and marinade, then close the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for several hours.

6

Prepare the skewers by alternating pieces of beef with tomatoes, using three pieces of beef and two tomatoes per skewer.

7

Preheat the grill until very hot.

8

Place the kebabs on the grill, turning once, and cook for about 4 minutes on each side, depending on desired doneness.
