🥗Healthier: dry white wine

💰Cheaper: sweet vermouth

Dry white wine can mimic the flavor profile at a lower cost.

Chill a martini glass by adding ice and water to it.

Dump out the ice and water from the chilled glass.

Add half an ounce to a quarter of an ounce of dry vermouth to the glass and swirl it around to coat the inside.

Dump out the vermouth after coating the glass.

Pour 2.5 ounces of vodka into a shaker.

Shake the vodka vigorously for about 30 seconds until cold.

Strain the vodka into the prepared martini glass, leaving the ice flakes on top.

Add a couple of olives to the martini.
