Chocolate Covered Matzo

Cultural Context

Chocolate covered matzo is a popular treat during Passover, celebrating the holiday's themes of freedom and renewal. Traditionally, matzo symbolizes the unleavened bread eaten by the Israelites during their exodus from Egypt. In modern times, this sweet version has become a beloved snack and dessert, enjoyed by many beyond the Jewish community, often customized with various toppings and flavors.
