Preheat oven to 350°F.
Measure out 1 cup of almonds and add to a bowl.
Measure out 1 cup of pecan halves and add to the bowl.
Measure out 0.5 cup of sunflower seeds and add to the bowl.
Measure out 0.5 cup of pumpkin seeds and add to the bowl.
Add canola oil to the bowl (any oil that can withstand 350°F can be used).
Add 0.5 teaspoon of kosher salt to the bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of chili powder to the bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of cumin to the bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the bowl.
Mix all ingredients in the bowl until evenly coated.
Spread the mixture on a baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the oven for 12 minutes, checking and stirring every 5 minutes to prevent burning.
After 12 minutes, remove from the oven and let it sit to reabsorb the oils for about 10 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a cool cookie sheet to speed up the cooling process.
