Add whole milk to a mixer.

Pour in the sugar and mix until dissolved.

Add 2 cups of heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt, then stir.

Add 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract, 1 cup of mini chocolate chips, and drops of green food coloring, then mix.

Place the mixture into a quart-sized bag and seal it.

Put another bag over the quart-sized bag for safety.

Place the double-bagged mixture into a gallon-sized bag.

Add about 4 to 5 cups of ice and 4 tablespoons of coarse salt to the gallon bag.

Shake the bag vigorously for five minutes.

Pour the mixture into a container and freeze overnight.
