Olive oil is a healthier fat option.

Cut the onion into small pieces, ensuring no big chunks remain.

Add the can of Mutti tomatoes to the pot.

Add the chopped onions to the pot.

Add 2 teaspoons of sugar to the pot.

Add 4 tablespoons of butter to the pot.

Put the lid on the pot, leaving it slightly open.

Stir the sauce every 10-15 minutes during cooking.

Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 1 hour.

Prepare your pasta of choice (farfalle is suggested).

After 1 hour, check the sauce and serve it over the cooked pasta.

Drizzle a little olive oil over the sauce before serving.
