Instructions
- 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- 3Stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, and salt until well combined.
- 4Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- 5In a large bowl, combine the mixed nuts with the spiced sugar mixture, ensuring all nuts are evenly coated.
- 6Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 7Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to prevent burning.
- 8Once golden and fragrant, remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
- 9Break apart any clumps and store in an airtight container.
