1

Rinse the plate and prepare to bake gizzard from scratch.

2

Grate the coconut and measure out 1 and 1/2 coconuts.

3

In a bowl, combine grated coconut, 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar, and some vanilla. Stir and let it set for 15-20 minutes.

4

Add a little honey to the coconut mixture to make it moist.

5

Put the coconut filling on the fire for around 3 minutes to catch more color.

6

Add a tip of water to the filling and let it simmer down until desired consistency is reached.

7

Remove the filling from the heat once it's cooked down nicely.

8

Take flour from the fridge, add a pinch of salt, and fold it together without kneading.

9

Place the dough in the fridge for 15 minutes.

10

Prepare a Ziploc bag for the dough.

11

Take the dough out of the fridge, cut it in half, and roll half into a dumpling shape.

12

Pinch the edges of the dumpling to seal it.

13

Place the dumpling in the oven for 20 minutes.

14

Check the gizzard after baking; it should look nice and golden.

15

Finish with a drizzle of maple syrup before serving.
