2 cans of plain fava beans (400 g per can)
very small onion, quartered
1 small tomato
2 garlic cloves
approximately 1/2 liters of water
3 tablespoon tahini
3 tablespoon labneh or sour cream
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 garlic clove
3 tablespoon olive oil + more to drizzle on top
3/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/8-1/4 teaspoon cayenne

Drain and rinse the fava beans.

In a blender, combine the fava beans, quartered onion, small tomato, garlic cloves, water, tahini, labneh or sour cream, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, cumin, and cayenne.

Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting water as needed for desired consistency.

Serve as a dip or in a sandwich, drizzling more olive oil on top.
