1

Mix yeast and warm water together, stir briefly, and set aside for about five minutes to activate the yeast.

2

In a stand-up mixer bowl, add evaporated milk, water, softened butter, eggs, sugar, salt, and the yeast mixture, then mix to combine.

3

Transfer to the stand-up mixer with the dough hook, set it to stir, and slowly add in the flour until the dough begins to come off of the sides.

4

Transfer the dough to a clean working station, lightly dust it with flour, and hand knead for another 5 minutes, adding more flour if it becomes sticky.

5

Lightly grease a large bowl, add in the dough, cover it, and let it rise in a warm area for one hour.

6

After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into two loaves, then further divide into seven or eight balls.

7

Lightly grease a 9-inch round pie pan and line it with the divided dough, cover, and let it rise again for another hour in a warm area.

8

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

9

Uncover the dough and bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
