Greek yogurt reduces calories while maintaining creaminess
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat until foamy.
Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and translucent, about 10 minutes.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in white wine and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze, cooking until reduced by half.
Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.
Season with salt, black pepper, thyme, and a pinch of nutmeg.
Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice to brighten the flavor.
Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
