How To Make Breadfruit & Chicken Soup

Season the chicken with 1 teaspoon of salt, green seasoning, smoked paprika, dry thyme, and onion powder.

Set the seasoned chicken aside.

Cut up sweet potato, red bell pepper, plantain, and green bananas.

Use previously boiled breadfruit as the base for the soup, cut into smaller pieces.

Remove the boiled breadfruit and set aside to cook the raw chicken.

Add the raw chicken to boiling water and cook completely.

Add leftover split peas to the boiling chicken.

Add chopped sweet potato, red bell pepper, plantain, green bananas, and seasoning peppers to the pot.

Cover and allow the ingredients to cook.

Taste for salt and add sea salt as needed.

Add the cooked breadfruit back into the pot to warm through.
