Three Bean Salad

2 cans yellow wax beans
1 can cut green beans
1 can dark red kidney beans
1 can garbanzo beans
1 green bell pepper
1 slicing cucumber
1 white onion
2/3 cup oil
1 1/3 cups apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons table salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Open the cans and drain the yellow wax beans and green beans, adding them to a glass bowl.

Drain and rinse the kidney beans and garbanzo beans, then add them to the bowl.

Pour in 1 1/3 cups of apple cider vinegar, 1 1/2 cups of white sugar, 2 teaspoons of table salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper into the bowl.

Stir the mixture well to combine all ingredients.

Slice the cucumber into thin or thick slices, optionally peeling strips for presentation.

Remove the top and bottom of the green bell pepper, discard the ribs and seeds, and slice into small squares.

Cut the white onion into thin slices to create onion rings, then add them to the bowl.

Stir the salad again to combine all the vegetables with the beans.

Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least three hours.
