Chile Verde Con Carne y Papas

5 tomatillos
4 Serranos
1 tablespoon oil
1 pound bottom round steak
1/4 cup diced onions
garlic salt
black pepper
2 garlic cloves
1 piece onion
handful of cilantro
oregano
chicken bouillon
1 cup water from boiled tomatillos
3 potatoes

Boil 5 tomatillos and 4 Serranos for 50 minutes or until soft.

In a deep pan, pour in 1 tablespoon of oil.

Add in 1 pound of bottom round steak cut into squares.

Add in 1/4 cup of diced onions and season with garlic salt and black pepper.

Mix well and cook for 15 minutes or until done.

Add the boiled tomatillos and Serranos to a blender along with 2 garlic cloves, a piece of onion, a handful of cilantro, oregano, chicken bouillon, and 1 cup of the water from the boiled tomatillos.

Blend well.

Add 3 potatoes cut into cubes to the meat.

Pour in the blended sauce and cover with a lid.

Simmer on medium low heat for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through.
